     The end of the school year is fast approaching. It is time to start thinking about whether you want to give your students certificates of completion or recognition. Instead of creating your own from scratch (Canva is great for this btw), how about using a template!      In this blog post by TCEA , there are many different templates to choose from. Scroll down to find the links. The first few are completely free while the others will cost you some money. 

     Something that I have done this year is to use attendance questions at the start of every class period. This provides a little bit of SEL as well. I did get many of my questions online from other sites while some I came up with myself. Please feel free to use the slides or better yet, customize it to make it fit better for your classroom.      Emoji’s …hate them or love them but they are everywhere. The younger generation loves them and uses them to communicate so why not use them to grade! A new update by Google allows you to now use Emoji reactions when making a comment. Think of it as a modern version of placing a star sticker.
