QRTOON: A fun new QR creator to easily share websites with others

QR codes are designed to be scanned by someone else using their iPad, smart phone, or chromebook camera allowing the user to quickly access a link to a website or file. There are many different QR codes creator website but I wanted to share one that is somewhat more fun (especially with younger students).

QRToon allows you to create a QR code that is more graphic with a Bitmoji or Avatar in the middle. It is super easy to use as well. Simply go to https://qrtoon.com/ and click on Try Web Browser. Next, you can either scan, upload, or simply copy and paste in the url. Select a photo that you want to have in the middle of the QR code. (HINT: I like to have the Bitmoji on my desktop to make it easier to find before I proceed with this step). If you are not happy with the image, you can switch out the photo or try a new style. If you are happy, simply select download. It will download the image to your computer and be ready to use. Below, check out the one I created for the CES and BKM library.
