Canva’s Newest News - Biggest Educational Launch Ever

Most of us have come to love using Canva to quickly create posters, signs, and even presentations. Over the past year, they have added many different AI tools to make most creation projects easier and more time efficient. Now, they have branched out and created even more tools to help teachers and students in education.

Today it was announced by Canva “a whole new suite of products that turn Canva into the all-in-one classroom tool educators have been asking for.”

Go to Canva for Education and sign up for a free account. Once you are signed up, make sure to click on the Get Verified button under Teachers. Connect to your school account and you are ready to begin. For more information on how to get started, including how to create your classes, watch this video: https://bit.ly/3tJCkrd

So What Is New? Like I mentioned before, Canva has been adding many AI tools into Canva to make creating content easier than ever before. Magic Write will help you compose messages, notes, and other text based tasks. Magic Animate can help spice up previous videos and presentations by adding in motion or animation. Magic Grab can be used to grab text from a pdf or picture. It can also be used to separate the background and image to help you customize exactly what you want. Magic Switch for changing your designs into a doc, blog post, or even an email. Translate will allow you to change all of the text in a presentation to another language. And finally, they have an AI tool called Canva Shield to help ensure all students stay safe when using their product.

But what I am most excited about is… Canva for Education now has more than 100 ready-to-teach curriculum supported lessons! The lessons have presentations already completed to explain the topic, worksheet, vocabulary flashcards and more. The best part is that each element can easily be edited and customized by you. The lessons were created by “partnered with industry experts like NASA and The New York Times.”
